I woke up and had to remind myself, "there are no palmetto bugs in Ohio, there are no palmetto bugs in Ohio, there are no palmetto bugs in Ohio..."
In other news, I finally finished my lacy socks. Yay! They are pretty and lacy and actually pretty warm, and also they fit with most of my flat dress shoes (ah, it's so nice to have some kind of benefit to having narrow feet).

They are. It's a great pattern. The lace is just different enough to stay interesting.
